Tamara de Lempicka was one of the most sought-after artists of the Art Deco age. She also was quite the party girl, frolicking with other “Flappers.” The painting on the wall to the upper left is a replica of “The Model” (1925), paying tribute to Ms. de Lempicka’s artistic ability with intricate female nudes. The somewhat ambiguous expression on the face of the admiring woman in white is purposeful.
