Bob Boyles,
The Artist

This panting is titled PUGET MOUND, one of Bob’s favorites which he created for Mario, his stepson, and presented to Mario shortly after he bought his first house a few years ago.

Bob: “Mario was an excellent high school baseball pitcher, and while he wanted the model in an outdoor setting–we chose Puget Sound–I couldn’t resist placing a baseball in her right hand as if taking the catcher’s sign and getting ready to go into a pitcher’s windup. Also, her stripes of navy blue and pale green resemble the colors of the Seattle Mariners.” PUGET MOUND was a gift to Mario; sorry, no Giclee prints are available for sale at this time.

The Artist

Robert Emmet Boyles, known to many as “Bob” or to some as “Bobaloo,” is a retired sports and product marketing executive and published book author. He also is a long-time artist of realistic images, working in oil paint on canvas.

Bob’s art is offered for sale on this website in the form of limited-edition, high-end Giclee process photo-to-canvas prints.

“Music is a great companion to wielding a paint brush. Don’t judge me, but I enjoy really varied tastes such as early ‘60s surf guitar instrumentals, Reggae, ‘60s psychedelic, Motown and Memphis soul, a select few of ‘70s Southern rock bands, and really loud ‘80s-‘90s rock bands.”
